I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at NCS
Interview
The Interview (initial screening) experience was quite unpleasant and it was the worst interview I’ve ever had in my entire career.
From the beginning, the interviewer seemed irritated and kept interrupting me while I was answering his question. The questions were asked in a very hostile tone and didn’t feel relevant to the role at all.
Honestly, it felt more like he was trying to prove he was better than me rather than actually evaluating my technical skills.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at NCS (Singapore) in Dec 2025
Interview
I had a disappointing experience with the interview process for the Software Engineer role (NEXT) at NCS. The process was not well managed. There were supposed to be two interviewers, but one joined slightly late and the other joined very late. As a result, the second interviewer missed my introduction, my technical background, and my work experience entirely.
When he finally joined, he asked me a question about Python, but his audio was very muffled and difficult to hear. I politely asked him to repeat the question, and he responded in a rude and dismissive manner by saying, “Nevermind. No more questions from me.” That left a very poor impression and felt unprofessional.
I was also told that the role requirements had changed at the last minute, and that the actual skills needed were very different from what had been stated in the job description. That made the process feel misleading and disorganized. Overall, the interview experience did not reflect a respectful or well-coordinated hiring process.
