      Podiatry Assistant Interview

      4 Oct 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Ealing, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at NHS (Ealing, England) in Aug 2018

      Interview

Interview by podiatrist and one other, friendly following a list of question. They did not ask me anything about previous employment or anything specific to the actual job. They didn't tell me much about the job. I felt afterwards that they had already chosen someone and were going through the process. They rang me within an hour of leaving to let me know that although I did great at the interview they had someone more suitable. I took this to mean that someone already within the nhs had applied and got the job. It was good that they let me know so that I wasn't wasting time. I did waste a lot of time as I was early for the interview and they were late to call me which I found a bit disrespectful. Yes interviews take up a lot of time from applying to making sure you are dressed appropriately to getting there.
