National Council on Economic Education interview questions

The interview process was fairly timely. The Council consistently kept me up to date as to the status of my application and was very responsive to questions that I had about the position.

Multiple rounds of 1:1 interviews with different department heads (with 5 people in total). One take-home project. The most frustrating aspect is that after making it to the final group of about a half dozen candidates, completing free labor, and taking time from my schedule for multiple interviews, the Council never contacted me again. I was surprised, as they seemed like a thoughtful group of people throughout. Ghosting candidates after such a commitment does not fit their stated company culture. I did not receive an offer, which is fine, but I also never received a rejection, which is frustrating. I sent a few follow-up emails and never heard a response.
