The interview process consisted of two to three rounds, during which the interviewers displayed a limited understanding of the role and its technical requirements.
The questions were broad, lacked depth, and focused primarily on generic project experience rather than assessing relevant technical skills. It became evident that the hiring team was unclear about the specific qualifications needed for the role.
Despite performing well in the interview and demonstrating strong technical expertise, I was ultimately passed over in favor of a candidate they were already familiar with. Interestingly, that individual left the role within three months.
In a surprising turn of events, I was later contacted to interview for the same position again after the previous hire’s departure, further highlighting the instability and lack of direction in their hiring decisions.
