Applied online directly on the website without a referral. Phone screen then an in-person interview. The phone screen stated that the position was mostly clerical with about 15% sourcing/recruiting.
Everyone was dressed cute casual, but extremely understated- little to no makeup/buns/ponytails. The culture of the company seemed really bizarre. The gentleman on the phone screen was very bland and so was the leader of the talent acquisition team. I am not an ultra serious person and the team is SUPER serious. I've never seen this in recruiting. The lady interviewing me did not crack a smile the entire time. The team seemed miserable.
I was supposed to have interviews with 3 people, but someone came into the office and said there was an emergency meeting and no one else could meet me. It seemed more like an excuse than an actual emergency. That's rude. I wouldn't have wasted my time if I had known.
By the end of the interview, I didn't want to job even though it would be an amazing-sounding (big name/prestiguous) company to work for.
