A lady took my Interview, The interview was neither tough nor Easy, the lady was herself confused about the questions she was asking. It was a Qa position but not a single QA question was asked. The interviewer asked questions from the resume,Will recommend not to show extra knowledge in front of the interviewer it might offend his or her ego , just answer what is asked.

Question 1
All the questions were based on the resume and academic projects.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at NetApp in Aug 2008
Interview
Interview questions were ok. They asked me about distributed systems, storage and file system concepts.
Some algorithmic questions were also asked primarily string manipulation, hashing.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at NetApp (Sunnyvale, CA) in Dec 2011
Interview
The interview itself wasn't hard, they asked general questions (how to find least common denominator, a brainteaser). The hard part was dealing with the recruiters. I had a pending job offer so they promised I'd know by the following Monday. On Monday they promised they'd tell me on Wednesday. On Wednesday they swore I would know by Thursday, and on Thursday they absolutely told me I would know Friday. A month later, still no reply. The way they dealt with me was incredibly unprofessional. I don't recommend going through the interview process if not knowing results stresses you out.
