I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Netflix (Austin, TX) in July 2024
Interview
The candidate experience was excellent. My recruiter was responsive and informative. They send resources and lots of supplemental information. To make sure you are able to be prepared. I did the rework and the interview went well. They were very transparent about the details of the role and I decided, after getting more information, to not continue in the process because the role was not a step forward for me. It was clearly a good place to work and I wish the role had been a better fot with my career plans because I would love to work there someday.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Netflix (Los Gatos, CA) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very detailed with each interview, I had six total, focused on a specific area (leadership, partnership, culture fit, etc.). The culture memo is definitely lived, not just on paper. For leadership is was about how you handle low performers and how you work to build culture on your team.
Great interview with senior stakeholders asking questions about experience and sharing insights into the workplace culture and the job itself. Stakeholders highlight what experience they are looking for and what to expect in the first 90 days.
