I applied online. I interviewed at NeuraFlash in May 2026
Interview
Although I tend to be a strong interviewer historically, I am typically very anxious before, during, and after interviews as I find it to inherently be a stressful thing to do. My interviews with NeuraFlash weren't particularly different in that sense, however I couldn't have imagined the interview process being more relaxed. The process consisted of an initial screening call by my assigned recruiter, whereupon passing the screening the recruiter scheduled my first interview. My first interview was with a senior technical resource and was a pretty high level technical assessment to get a feel for my background and technical skills. Questions were not low level at all, more like "what is your experience with XYZ?". The second interview was a panel interview. It was supposed to be comprised of a total of three members from senior leadership (senior manager, senior director, and a VP), however one could not make the interview. This interview was the most difficult of the three. There were a handful of low-level technical questions pertaining to the role here, but also behavioural questions and questions on how you would approach particular situations in a project, or interact with a client. The third interview was with a C-suite executive and could be summarized as being an interview to determine cultural and personality fit with the company. They talked about how the company operates and handles projects, things like performance and travel expectations, etc. In all three interviews the staff made me feel very comfortable and the conversation felt free-flowing and not just like they were rehearsing a script and banging off a list of robotic questions. Everyone was very friendly and it really helped me to relax shortly after the interviews started. They also left time at the end for me to ask a few questions and passed feedback on to the recruiter immediately after the interviews and the recruiter followed up with next steps by the end of the day. This was the most thorough interview process I've been through, and it took about a total of 3 weeks from the time I had my initial screening to the time that I received my offer letter.

Question 1
What roles have you been responsible for during the course of a project?
I applied through other source. I interviewed at NeuraFlash (Boston, MA) in June 2026
Interview
I had a positive conversation with the hiring manager and left the interview feeling confident that I had performed well. The discussion was engaging, and I was excited about the opportunity.
What made the experience disappointing was receiving a rejection without any specific feedback, despite the interview feeling very positive. After investing significant time preparing for the process, I followed up hoping to better understand the decision, but never received a response.
I completely understand that not every interview leads to an offer, and I respect the company's decision. However, the lack of feedback and communication afterward left me feeling that candidates' time and effort were not fully valued. A brief response or some constructive feedback would have gone a long way toward creating a better candidate experience.
