I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at New York Life (Wall, NJ) in Mar 2016
Interview
It was a three step process, in the first you meet with a manager at a local office and they discuss what the job will entail and if it goes well, they will inform you of the next meeting. The next meeting will be with the managing director, where he will ask you similar questions. Third, after you get the necessary referrals in the one where they bring you on board.
Very informative interview process. Explained clearly the training process, goals of the job, and compensation structure (which is rather complicated!). Helped to understand what was needed and tools available to succeed.

Question 1
Most of the questions will be behavioral, focusing on why I want to join the firm, what specifically interests me about the role, and whether I understand the responsibilities of the job. They may also ask situational questions, such as describing a time I managed risk or demonstrating how I handle time management and prioritization.
