Very thorough and not pretentious. Each person gave a very candid view of the business, the company and the practical side of Human Resources. Very comfortable 'getting to know you' style of interview from everyone I spoke with.

Question 1
What experience had in areas of HR - real discussion/conversation about the ins and outs of HR in practice
Very unprofessional recruiter. Not sure if he had not looked at my resume before but he had a script of questions and kept asking me the same questions over again. Why did you leave your last job. Then asked me if my current job was a contract. Yes. Why are you looking to leave. Because it’s a contract? Like no common sense just reading a script. Also the role was low balled and labeled as “senior associate” when based on the JD and scope it is a VP or Director level role. I asked about this and he got extremely defensive
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at New York Life (New York, NY) in Nov 2024
Interview
I interviewed for a role in which I had a high skills match. They were enthusiastic through the first three rounds (including in house recruiter screening) and the hiring manager, and then another manager. I was disappointed there was no follow up for several weeks and counting after that interview. (And yes I sent thank yous to each interviewer.) Obviously the organization moved on but I think it's unprofessional or at least not ideal to not communicate for that long, even to let you know they are going in another direction.
