I applied online. I interviewed at Nexthink (Bengaluru) in June 2026
Interview
First round: Managerial round. Bit of resume, basic system design and microservices concept, kafka, behavioural question
Second round: Coding round. Q1: Find all the pair in an array with target sum k. Q2: Given a sorted array of integers(which might contain some repeated numbers), give the first and last index of occurance of a target number k.
Third Round: F2F interview. Q1:Given a piece of code how would you review it and what are the changes which you will suggest to make it more production ready. Q2: Given a piece of code which connects to kafka, what are the changes you will suggest to ensure you cover all the failure scenarios for production. This question was mainly focussed on kafka and its failure scenarios in depth.
Overall the experience was very good. The quality of the questions was very good. The interviewers were very friendly and supportive.
Long and complex process of many steps, but coherent and well-organised.
I did not like one interviewer, as it looked to me he was more trying to prove me wrong rather than really addressing my skills, however, all the other steps were legit and fair.
The steps are hard: software engineering practices, live coding, take-home assignment, problem solving, leadership and cultural fit.
Expect deep behavioural questions, as well as a whiteboard system design and coding
