Phase 1: Pre-Interview Application & Screening: Your resume and cover letter are reviewed by an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and/or a recruiter for basic qualifications. Recruiter Screen (Phone/Video): A short (15-30 minute) call with a recruiter or HR representative. They verify your resume details, salary expectations, work authorization, and interest in the role. This is a filtering stage.
