I applied via LinkedIn a week ago and received an upexpected call on Tuesday afternoon asking if it were a bad time for a screening call to which I replied yes and rescheduled the call for Thursday 3rd August. The call lasted 26 minutes and alot of it was me being told that my cv was hard to read along with suggesting I should bullet point my content on my cv and remove any descriptions of work history that dates prior to 2018. At the beginning of the interview the recruiter told me that they werent able to go into details about the job as it was new and so this meant I only could ask general questions at the end of my screening call rather than role specific. The whole screening call felt like I was getting grilled for the layout of my cv rather than an interview. I appreciate feedback but I'd much prefer to ask for feedback rather than it be freely given in a critical way.
