I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Nims (Jaipur, Rajasthan) in Oct 2015
Interview
The whole process was unnecessarily long, as they didn't shortlist anyone in the first round and sent everyone through to the second one. The person during the first interview stumbled through questions in the field which he taught in and showed an appalling lack of knowledge in the subject, while the second interview was conducted by a panel of extremely, aggressively pushy people who would refuse to negotiate on the smallest of points.

Question 1
What I could do in addition to teaching. This is what they asked all the other candidates as well. I don't think they actually need academicians; just these sort of floaters who'll do everything. Okayish job for someone starting out, but not good enough for someone seeking to build a resume and advance to the level of professor one day.
