First stage was a coding challenge. It consisted of creating a simple API with some filters and error handling. Unit tests were also expected.
Once successfully completed the challenge they requested the source code for review.
Next, there was a remote interview, which is normally done in person but COVID-19.
The interviewers were friendly and talked about the stack they worked with and what the job would consist of.
There weren’t many questions, I was only asked to talked briefly about myself and answer what were some of the challenges I found in learning programming and building web apps.
The technical part consisted mainly of a code review and debugging. I had 10” to review a piece of code and was then expected to provide feedback and debug.
There was some async code, simple math calculations and tests.
The next interview would take place in the office and was supposed to be more about the cultural fit. Unfortunately I didn’t go ahead in the process so I can’t speak about it.
