Owner gave me a call and asked to explain my background and why I am interested in the position. She was very friendly and somebody who think I would have been to work for. After going over my work experience, she discussed compensation. I would have been changing career paths with this position, so I appreciate her forwardness on this subject matter. Ultimately, the pay (approx 35k) was too low for me to move forward with the interview process, but I had a pleasant 20 minute conversation. I very much enjoyed and appreciated our conversation. I would be happy to work for her as an owner, unfortunately it was not a good fit for me.
