      Manager Interview

      20 May 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Melbourne
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Nintex (Melbourne)

      Interview

Brief phone interview with recruiter, followed by hour long interview with hiring manager, 1 hour technical assessment, followed by 3 individual half hour interviews from other departments before a final 1 hour interview with c-suite executive. Had to apply for annual leave as it was 5 hours worth of my working hours. Considering the amount of time that went into the hiring process and positive feedback going through the stages, when I was not offered the role and asked for feedback there was none provided. So there's that. However the 6 employees that I met and spoke with were lovely and professional.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Nintex

      Interview

All interviews are virtual. Initial call with HR, followed by the hiring manager and C suite. I was skeptical about the company because there was very little racial or ethnic diversity in the company except in the IT/ software area. Management, C suite leadership are all non diverse, which is incongruent with the international presence of the company. Almost all other employees are white and Western and I knew going in that there was a high probability of someone similar being selected. I researched the company beforehand, current employee profiles and glassdoor reviews and they all seemed to adhere to this single, white, Western background, regardless of their country. If you match this background, then go ahead and apply. If not, I would recommend a company with more diversity in line with today's workforce

      Interview

Applied via LinkedIn, 3 days later I had a call from the recruiter. Had a 30 minute conversation regarding the position, my background and salary requirements. Was told that they would be getting with the hiring manager at the end of the week. Friday afternoon I received a call to schedule an interview time with the hiring manager for Monday mid-morning. After the zoom call with the hiring manager, I was called by the recruiter and was asked to speak (via zoom) with 3 other people. another Manager, A would be employee and a VP. All interviews were completed by Wednesday afternoon. I was asked for references on Thursday and received an offer Friday by lunch. Recruiter was always in touch and always kept me in the loop.
