Interview
I applied and received an email to schedule a phone interview within a week. The phone interview was only 2 questions and the interviewer was robotic and took time to type down my responses then set me up for an in person interview in a week. At the store I was interviewed by the department manager and someone in HR at the same time and they asked me questions from a list that Nordstroms had given them. After that the manager took me to her department, showed me around, then asked me to pick out an outfit and "sell" it to her. I was nervous because I had no prior sales experience and I am just a college student but I got offered the job the very same day! Definitely familiarize yourself with the brands you might be selling and try to be outgoing and show you are great with talking to people.

Interview
Just got past the phone interview portion of the interview process which consisted of only a few questions. One about work availability, the second was a scenario question and, the third was about past work experiences.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1) What's my work availability?
2) What was my most challenging customer service experience and how did I overcome it (i.e. angry customer)?
3) What do you dislike and like about sales?
