I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2013
Interview
It was casual and fairly easy. They call you to ask questions about yourself and give a description of the job. Then if there is mutual liking you will be asked to go in for an interview with the manager and store manager. They ask questions about why Nordstrom and how you will help the company. Sometimes they will give you an immediate answer or call you sometime in the following days.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Applied online. About 2 weeks later received an "online "interview" which was a 3 minute process asking me what time was I available for a in person interview. Received 2 interviews on the day of the interview, with a tutor of the store. About a week later received a job offer. I had no sales experience.
