There were many red flags from the very beginning. 1) The recruiter replied to my email that I had sent for the availability after tentatively 12-14 days later 2) He took the first round of interview and said things like I like your work; your previous job role has many similarities with what we are looking for; let's expedite the process, so send me your availability for the second round. As asked immediately after the phone interview, I emailed him my availability for the next round. 3) After that email, the interviewer ghosted me like anything. I emailed him to follow up, even called, texted, and even messaged him over LinkedIn no response at all. Ultimately I messaged someone else from that company over LinkedIn to help me, and that person was kind enough to take my case to the hiring manager 4) After going through all this, he finally replied to my email saying, "They have a problem with my manufacturing background, and they would like someone with more Supply Chain experience" I don't understand in a matter of 20-25 days how can "You seem to be a perfect fit, let's set up the second round" switched to "we have problem with your manufacturing background, so we are not moving forward." Getting ghosted after giving the interview is not justified at all
