I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Burlington, MA) in June 2015
Interview
I applied online after a sales associate there told me they were hiring. I applied for the Sales Experience (cashier) position. I got an email a couple days later asking me to do a recorded video interview. After that, I got called in to do an in-person interview with a manager. Following the first in-person interview, I got called in to do a final cut interview with the store manager. A couple days later, I got a call offering me a departmental sales associate position instead of the sales experience position. Everybody I met with during the process was extremely helpful and nice and made the whole thing very smooth. It felt organised, which is always a good indicator of how a particular location is doing.

Question 1
What is a career achievement you're particularly proud of?
Applied online and received an email to schedule a phone interview. After the phone interview I was scheduled for an in-person interview at the store where I spoke to one manager, was given a tour of the store, and then interviewed again with another manager. Both were extremely kind and personable, making me feel comfortable
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Springfield, VA) in Mar 2015
Interview
Applied online for a new store opening, got an email the next day for a group interview that was scheduled in a two weeks. Since it was a new store opening, the interview was held in a meeting room at a local hotel. You walk in, say hello to everybody and sit down. When everybody arrives, the managers introduce themselves and talk about what they do for the company. After that, you watch a video about Nordstrom and what its really all about. When the video is over, a manager talks to you one on one (depending on which department you applied for) and you do that twice.
