Interview process was quite straightforward.
Marilyn had moments of niceness and humour, but overall came across like she would be an intense, toxic and unpleasant boss. About 15 minutes before the arranged interview time, she messaged me asking if I could start the interview earlier. I said I could start 5 minutes earlier. When I joined the call, she interrogated me as to why I couldn't start even earlier, which I thought was utterly unprofessional. I can also attest to the reviews criticising the expectation for instant email replies. She mentioned she expects this in the interview, so at least she was candid.
She offered me the job during the interview, which was flattering of course, but she expected me to accept on the spot, without reading a contract. When I said I needed some time to consider the offer (as is a universal recruitment custom), she became very irked and only agreed to give me a day after I said I could not accept immediately.
The interview left me feeling awful and totally put me off her company. I sent an email to decline the job the following morning, and I was left anxious about receiving an unpleasant reply. Luckily I received no response at all.
