I was interviewed at Novartis Pharmaceuticals (Hyderabad) in this year.
Interview process is quite easy but mixed experienced with the behaviour of the Hyderabad interviewer. Group head was good.
1 Telephonic HR round and 2 technical rounds with manager and group head.
The interviewers outside India and Group Head speaks very well English and they are very experienced. They have good technical skills and also having good interviewing skills.
My observation from 2nd Round, the body language of 2nd interviewer seating in Hyderabad is so negative and he was rejected all my answers. This is the first time in my career where interviewer was showing negitive body language and demotivated response to every answer.
I have read reviews of Hyderabad Location Novartis and found that it seems true Bengali and Maharashtra ppl dominating...
The reason seems to me, Hyderabad guy does not like South Indians, he was so sarcastic by body language, negativity in responding to me instead of silently listening.
this guy kept interrupted while I was talking., whereas Onsite person asking right questions and keenly listening to answers. It is very evident from that manager lacks communication skills (not effective listening and verbal), I understand that he lacks the basic understanding of Agile, DevOps and zero knowledge on project management.
I felt that I should be putting my career risks by joining this company and better keeping away from this company.
I strongly suggest not to apply and screw your career, if you are not North India and get chance to interview by North Indian guys...
I strongly suggest Novartis , Hyderabad to record all interview sessions and HR team member should be in all panels. The guys with racism mindset will screw up the brand image and you will not good technical skilled people to join.
Strengthen your technical team by having right capable team members before keep publishing Jobs with redundant roles...
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Novartis (Toronto, ON)
Interview
Interview lasted less than 30 mins, I did not get an offer yet, I felt rushed and was not able to show case my experience but overall its good. I do not know if i will get the role or not
The interview process took 3 months, 3 rounds of interviews with several team members. After the 3rd round, I was starting to think they weren’t really hiring. What a waste of my time.
Teams are very knowledgeable and welcoming. Asked a lot of technical questions. Scenario based questions were decent. It was a good experience. HR also asks decent amount of questions. Prepare and stay positive throughout. Don’t be too serious when answering
