Applied and was contacted about one week later for a phone screen. Took about two weeks to hear next steps in scheduling 2 Teams calls. One with the Hiring Manager and the second with two other Hiring Manager level peers. These were 45 minute meetings. The first meeting went smooth and surface level, with a couple Star format questions. The mini panel call was awkard. Right from the start, one of the managers was running a little late but we got going and were doing introductions. He declined to introduce himself and immediately launched into a tirade. "I don't care about your resume or experience. All this does is just get your foot in the door...yada yada yada". I've never experienced anything like this but it set a very awkward tone for the rest of the meeting even though the questions were fair. No knowledge or technical questions at all, so it's 100% about fit. I wouldn't even say it's about culture fit because it was a very poor representation of an otherwise respected company.
