After an initial phone call I took an at home entrance test on relevant subject material and gave a technical presentation on my previous work. The process was smooth and enjoyable. It gave me good insight to the employer's expectations and the friendly company culture.

Interview
The interview was enjoyable. It started off with a nice, honest conversation with one of the founders. The emphasis of the conversation was on the intent of the company and their values around their employees. It's a largely remote employee base, so they want to make sure it's the right fit for you. It should be if you are someone who is self-managing with high integrity. The second part of my interview was a presentation on a topic of my choice. I chose to discuss a particularly challenging engineering problem I solved, and the stories surrounding it.
