Interview
I had a screening interview followed by 2 calls with scientists including written questions I had to submit that were pretty easy. I had an on-site interview and tour followed by meeting with the COO where the COO proceeded to kind of trash my lack of experience. Ghosted after the on-site.

Interview
The first interview started with short description of the position and the company. They asked me to present myself, describe projects that I worked in my previous job, they just went thrugh all the requirements that are presented in their job description and asked about each one of them, if I have an experience and if I can provide some detailed information about each experience.

Question 1
I was asked to present myself, what experience do I have as chemical engineer. What processes I developed? Am I familiar with distillation technology, what processes I was involved, what products we had to purify from which mixtures. The asked if I have an experience of working in continues and batch modes and they asked me to provide an example of working at each of these modes. The also asked me to provide an example of scaling up process from laboratory to manufacturing in plant.

Interview
First round was just basic introduction and was asked about whether I have laboratory experiments running reactions and analyzing compounds. Second round was asked to come on-site because I am local and two scientist interviewed me using some whiteboard writing with lightning round of questions which I was not asked to prepare. I was told they are gonna see how I handle lab environment and tested me on somethings I took a course on like 8 years back
