I applied online. I interviewed at Nugget Market (Sacramento, CA) in Sept 2021
Interview
My experience interviewing for Bakery Clerk position at Nugget Market was very positive. I applied online and a few days later received an email from Nugget HR admin to schedule a phone screening interview. Phone interview with Sarah was quick (about 10-15 min) and very pleasant. She asked me why I was interested in applying for this open position and about my past work experience. At the end of the phone interview, Sarah invited me for in-person interview with Store Director at Nugget Market. In-person interview was scheduled about three days from phone interview.
My in-person interview was with Jazzmen, the Store Director. It was one of the most positive and comfortable interviews I’ve been to. Jazzmen was professional and friendly, genuinely interested in learning about me as candidate for this open position. She asked me questions and listened attentively to my answers. Jazzmen welcomed any questions that I had for her. She created a great, positive atmosphere at my interview. I was told that I will be contacted if I were to be offered this position.
About two hours later this same day, I received a phone call from Jazzmen with an offer for hire for Bakery Clerk position. I gladly accepted the offer:).
Great experience: fast and straight forward.

Interview
The interview process had great flow and was very organized, I loved having a phone interview first then being asked to an in person interview with the store director! I feel like the phone interview made me feel comfortable and helped me with my confidence for the in person interview. I met with the store director and bakery manager and they asked me questions about myself and not only about my work history. I feel like they wanted to get to know me very well as a person to see if I would be the right fit for not only the team but their guests! They gave me all the details I needed about the job description and what it entailed, I had no questions when I left! Overall one of the best interview experiences I have had!

I applied through other source. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Nugget Market (West Sacramento, CA) in June 2022
Interview
I applied to Nugget on a Saturday, three days later, on Tuesday I received a text to schedule a phone interview. My phone interview was that Thursday. I prepared for the interview using questions posted on Glassdoor, which they asked me! The hiring manager was very kind during the phone interview and made it a comfortable experience. I passed the phone interview and scheduled an in-person interview on the same day with the store director I believe (still trying to remember names and titles). I was anxious until the interview began and quickly experienced the same comfort that I felt over the phone with the addition of the bakery lead! I got the job! When applying to Nugget make sure you know the responsibilities of the position. Good luck.
