I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at OCU Group in Apr 2026
Interview
The interview itself wasn’t bad. They asked some contextual questions, as well as my thoughts about the company, and also questions about my experiences and career aspirations. The experience, however, is negative because I haven’t received any feedback about my interview, which is disappointing and unprofessional. Until today, I don’t know whether I have moved on to the next stage or not, and considering the effort I put into preparing myself, that was highly disrespectful.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at OCU Group (Preston, North West England, England) in Feb 2026
Interview
Talent Acquistion partner responded promptly to CV. Very excitedly offered a 30 minute conversational meeting with the IT Director. Told that l progressed to next stage - in person interview.
Then ghosted. Completely ghosted despite reaching out both to Talent Acquistion and the Leader who l had the 'conversational' interview with.
If you change your mind about about an applicant, lose your funding or whatever the reason may be it is professional curtesy and good manners to let them know. There really is no excuse.
Its a shame as the role sounded a fantastic challenge in an exciting environment for a company doing really innovative projects.

You are asked to create a PowerPoint on CDM and do a presentation after they ask competence questions and general interview question. It was a great and positive atmosphere overall. Quite easy to talk too.
