I applied online. I interviewed at Occupop (Dublin, Dublin) in Dec 2021
Interview
Not quite sure what the purpose of this call was as it felt more like a police interrogation than a phone screening. When discussing my previous experience, I was practically accused of "lying" on my CV. The intonation and general attitude of the CEO towards me almost felt hostile like I had wasted her time and lied on my application. I wanted to finish the call there and then but she kept on asking me questions which honestly came across as passive aggressive more than anything as it then went onto my short tenure within another role. Piece of advice to the hiring manager : If a CV isn't to your liking, why bother arranging a phone screening in the first place?
Am delighted that this came to light during this stage. Have ZERO INTEREST in working for such a company.

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry that you feel your time was wasted, that would never be our intention. We phone screen candidates that we believe have shown relevant experience in their CV or that have demonstrated potential through transferable skill sets. The purpose of the phone screen is to validate experience listed in the CV and for us to further assess suitability for the role. We thank you for your interest in working with us and we wish you all the best with your future job search.
