I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ola (Bengaluru)
Interview
Got lead from LinkedIn. After initial discussion with the job poster , was asked to send in my resume through email.
Post sharing resume, was asked to prepare a presentation on a topic on lean and six sigma approach.
I shared the presentation outlining causes and suggesting possible solutions and new product ideas.
Later, telephonic interview was scheduled where the presentation was highly appreciated and multiple scenarios were discussed to assess my thought process at different situations.
I was given a positive feedback on the know how's and was told that someone from HR will connect for next step.
Waited for a week and had no response. When I contacted the HR, was told that she will check and get back to me but had no communication from her later.
I got in touch with the LinkedIn connect and he responded me that although I am good at subject matter but I am not a good fit for OLA culture.
To my surprise, within the same week, one of my product suggestions-OLA specialized packages for major tourist attractions was launched-Bannergata zoo package.
My overall conclusion is that now companies are looking for product suggestions and process improvisation through these mock interviews and presentation., Which is highly unethical.
Beware sharing presentation and Insights to a company .

Interview
I Applied through a referral. I received an email from HR, asking a case on how to improve customer retention, to be submitted in 3 days. After submitting the case, with elaborate answers, did not hear back from them for a month, despite repeated follow-ups with the HR. The emails just went ignored.
