I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Old Navy (Charleston, SC) in May 2013
Interview
I applied online and received a phone call relatively quickly about scheduling an interview. I had an interview with the general manager of the store. She asked pretty typical questions regarding customer service such as what would I do if a customer was angry. Overall it was a very easy-going interview and I came in dressed very casually. I was offered the position within a couple of days

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Old Navy (Salinas, CA) in Aug 2019
Interview
I applied online and received a call 3 weeks later about going in for an interview later that day. I was unable to interview that day and asked to go in another day, so they scheduled me in for the next day. When I got there there was another person there also waiting to interview. We were taken to the back and had what felt more like a casual conversation than an interview. Only 2 questions were asked and then she said we would have to wait a few days for our background checks to clear but we should expect a call about orientation when they do. In all, the interview took about 15 minutes. 3 business days later, I got a call and went in the next day to fill out paperwork.
I applied online. I interviewed at Old Navy (New York, NY) in Jan 2019
Interview
The experience was very neutral and calm and normal. It was on time and interviewer was nice and clear and concise. I don’t understand why it has to be 30 words to write out my interview experience.
Group interview. Manager gave us 10 minutes or so to walk around the store and assemble an outfit you might try to sell to a customer. Discussed our choices as a group. Got a call back a few days later to begin employment. Seasonal work.
