Like the other review, I’d say it was more of a conversation that an interview. I was contacted on the morning via email, and a phone call was arranged for the same day with no time for preparation.
This preparation was not needed, as nothing was asked about my experience. Instead she asked about things I had written previously, in articles and my university dissertation. She wrote those down (to perhaps use herself?).
It was a very casual call in which she also told me some very personal stories - quite bizarre and unprofessional as I do not know this person.
Easy interview but in retrospect this process should have been a red flag for what was to come in the internship. I assume she takes on everybody that applies and proceeds to exploit them all.
Like the other review, she discussed how this can help me to build a portfolio. It can not, as my work was never published.
