I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (London, England) in Oct 2018
Interview
1cv and 1case at first round. The interviewer was checking their email during my case and not engaging with me. The case was was essentially a pricing case where I was reprimanded for thinking too broadly and not just doing a cost analysis. Was also told that my approach was too logical and not creative enough. And he had better solutions that I couldve said.
Maybe its just the first round but I felt that they were looking for specific but 'creative' answers rather than looking to understand how well one can work through a problem.
it was smooth but you need to work hard on your calculations skills, i failed in this part of the case because the calculator is not allowed and i had not familiarize myself with it before the interview but overall it was a good experience

I applied online. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (Milan) in May 2026
Interview
Pre-selection with one mini-case/brain teaser of 30 min. Overall, the case was testing both numerical reasoning and logics I would say. If you prepare the mini cases correctly you can pass.
Interviewers never attended on time. Rescheduled 7 times. Cases were easy relative to other firms. They dont take candidates very seriously so prepare for that. Personal questions include why OW?
