The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman in Dec 2010
Interview
The interview consists of three-rounds. Two over the phone and one in-person. I did two phone-interview which consisted each of a case question. Both interviews were not supposed to go over 30 min, which they made clear at the beginning of the interview. I had a mixed experience. My first interviewer was really great; she was tough but also supportive if she noticed you were on to something. My second interview did not seem to care so much, and he was supposed to test a foreign language, which happens to be my native language. And I could speak it better than him and at the end it was only awkward.
What I really liked though about these interviews and the company is that they give you feedback right after the interview (wether you made it or not) and tell you your strengths as well as the areas where you can still improve. Nobody does this anymore. And I really liked that about them.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
If you were to open a food store at a major international airport? How would you go about it?
An online assessment (Math and Behavioral) followed by 1 group HR interview and 3 case interviews. You have to pass each case interview to move into the next one. Cases mainly focused on market sizing skills.
I applied online. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (Dubai) in June 2025
Interview
There was an online assessment, followed by an HR interview. I did not pass the HR interview, however I found it to be underwhelming. Compared to other interviews, no emphasis was placed on actually finding out who you are and how you would fit in to the organization.
