I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Open Society Foundations
Interview
Online application process was streamlined and efficient. Received email for phone interview, which was postponed several times, but always with sufficient notice. Phone interview was conducted by prospective direct supervisor, who was courteous and professional, but clearly had not reviewed my resumé. Was informed I would be notified if I was to be considered for the next interview (in person or via Skype). Position was filled (as visible from web posting) without further contact from OSF.

Question 1
"What do you understand to be the nature of this job, based on the job posting?"
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Open Society Foundations (New York, NY) in July 2014
Interview
Some standard background questions, more specific questions about processes. They asked how my skills would relate to the offered role. Some of what they were asking assumed an existing knowledge about the way things worked, which made things a bit difficult.
