Interview
They ask for you to solve a Game Theory problem in the cover letter you send. The problem is an interesting one and does take a bit of mental gymnastics to solve. The problem comes afterwards, where they send you a ridiculous online test, which is supposed to test for General Cognitive Aptitude. This test is EXACTLY like those shady online IQ tests and the only thing it measures is one's ability to take the test and not cognitive aptitude. It's a ridiculous test and, on principle, I refuse to work anywhere that thinks this is an adequate recruitment process.

Question 1
On the cover letter, a game theory problem with the problems. A multi-player game where all players play optimally and you have to find out what these optimal plays are given the settings in the questions.
After, a general cognitive aptitude test which, if you respect yourself, you'll decline to do and move on to another company.
First there was a long OA of about 3hours. Then, there was a zoom interview on the card betting game with the recruiter. I didn't make it to the next round.
Very smooth, the HR just asked me why Optiver, why quant, what is your strength and weakness, what is the career plan in the next 5 years, but I did not answer very perfect

2nd of betting. the platform was bit hard to use. Recommend to get some training if you can find the resources. both interviewers were nice
