I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Oxa (Oxford, England)
Interview
It is difficult to describe the 'interview process' when the entire process didn't feel like an interview whatsoever.
At every opportunity, I felt welcome, valued and listened too; not an easy feat, particularly with remote hiring processes.
I do not just attribute this to the clearly excellent and modern culture that Oxbotica presides over, but to the fantastic individuals that made the process so slick and inviting - I've never not felt nervous at an interview before; with Oxbotica, I was reassured and encouraged to speak my mind and answer questions openly and honestly.

Question 1
There were a set number of personal questions, regarding my previous experience and why my desire to embark on a career change, but also about me as a person; what I get up to outside of work, what makes me, me!
There were then a number of more technical questions, certainly more generic technical IT questions, mixed in with more situational based questioning, such as prioritising different incidents / cases, what to do if I have exhausted my technical capability and who to seek guidance / support from.
The question I most enjoyed was what kit would I take in a grab bag for an IT / AV setup at a conference - it really made me think about the bag of tricks that I'd bring along, but also how best to showcase Oxbotica in the best light!
