I had an initial interview with a Lead Developer. It didn't start off very well, as the interviewer barely looked at the camera for about 30 minutes. Looking around everywhere but so straight away I didn't get a good feeling.
Nothing was mentioned on the job description that you'd be working 50% on PHP.
This isn't all on the person doing the interview, it's also on me, I didn't answer the questions very well and didn't articulate my experience fully.
This was my first interview in 7 years so I was a little out of practice. Plus when the person you're speaking to didn't look interested, why would you want to engage fully.
