I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PFP (Orange, CT) in Feb 2016
Interview
I met with a recruiter onsite and had a very pleasant interview, the employees I encountered were very friendly while I waited to be seen. I was invited back to a 2nd interview with one of the hiring managers that went very well also and was asked to come back to meet with another hiring manager. The final interviewer seemed to lack interview skills, was unprepared and hadn't previewed my resume before I arrived. Didn't ask questions about how my past skills would help me be successful/relevant for the job. He was focused on my past salary and seemed to have a bias or objection but he was not able to ask the appropriate questions in order for me to respond to his concerns.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Have you ever sold anything to anyone who wasn't expecting to buy anything?
Thank you for evaluating your interview experience with us. Our interview process generally involves multiple interviews with multiple interviewers/hiring managers.
We are sorry that you felt we could have dug deeper to get to know you and your skill capability. Most times we accomplish this in the first and second interview.
By the time we get to a third (which is a good sign) we want to discuss any major concerns. For example if a candidate is applying for a position where they will make
less money than they did in the past. While salary isn’t always the greatest factor for everyone it is important and we understand that people have certain lifestyle and salary needs.
Part of a good hiring practice is to ensure that an employee will be happy and comfortable with the pay they will receive for their work. Again, we are sorry that you did not fully feel heard and we
will continue to work on offering candidates the best interview experience possible.

Interview
Interviewed at PFP Services in Orange, CT and had a great first interview. Initially, the recruiter indicated that I will be able to make the second round of interviews and the second would be with the hiring manager. The recruiter indicated that hiring manger is out of out town for the next couple weeks. Each week, I would receive a call from this recruiter that PFP is interested and still keeping me ‘on the hook.’ A month goes by and finally, I get the second interview with the hiring manager. The second interview was at the end of the day. Thought I did well again, but the ‘said’ hiring manger indicated that she was not the hiring manger and that there was another round of interviewing. The following morning, before 9am, the recruiter indicated that position was given to someone else and that I was last to interview. The very next morning after the interview, the position was filled. Be ware of this organization wasting your time and energy for a position that is already filled. Strung along and poor communication.
