I applied through university. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group (Pittsburgh, PA)
Interview
PNC visited my school's career fair. I made casual conversation with one of their boothers and he had me write my name down for an interview that day. Had a 30-45 minute interview technical manager. Got a call about a week later with an invitation to participate in PNC's 'Super Day' interviews. That process consisted of an open bar style happy hour the night before the interview with those that you will be interviewing. The next day, it was 3 interviews with managers spread across different teams for about 45 minutes to an hour each. Sent thank you emails. Everyone responded which was great. One actually slipped and said congratulations before I had the offer.

Interview
HireVue with video interview and assessment.
If you move forward, you will receive an easy coding assessment in your preferred programming language. However, you should be prepared to clearly explain your code and thought process during the interview.
As part of the second round, there are two additional interviews that combine behavioral questions with a review and discussion of your coding assessment.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group in Feb 2026
Interview
The overall process took about a month. First stage was a HireVue with 5 behavioral questions and 3 “games”. Second stage was a CodeVue with 2 relatively easy questions that mostly required string manipulation. Last stage is a “super day” where you have two 25-min interviews that’s both a combination of behavioral questions and reviewing your code from the CodeVue.
