I interviewed at Pacific Living Properties (Bellevue, WA)
Interview
Received a call then two in person interviews.
I received a phone call and then was invited the following week to meet in person. After an hour and a half drive, I was given the job description and that was it. Another in-person interview was scheduled the following week. As a professional, I take my marketing work and all my previous examples of what I can bring to the table. I was told by them to send some additional work via email, which I did.
Upon leaving, they wanted me to leave my folder behind so they can review it. I was very apprehensive but given the circumstances, I agreed.
The following afternoon, I get an email from them informing me that they have decided to go with another candidate. I was completely fine by that but at this time, I wanted my work back. I sent an email asking for my folder to be returned. They responded that they would get in touch with me ASAP, 6 days later, no response.
In the interim, I took matters into my own hand and emailed upper management and asked for my folder to be returned. I was informed that the folder has been lost. At this point, as anyone can understand, I was not happy. I sent them an email and told them that I did not want any of my hard-earned work to be copied or mimicked in any way form or fashion. I was informed that they would never do that. I sent a few emails inquiring about my folder and got the same response, that they are unable to locate my work.
My experience was negative. Professionalism goes a long way and that's one thing I did not see from this company. I have advise them to return my work to me as soon as they find it, which seems very unlikely. I'm hoping my work will not be stolen by this company for their advantage.
Future candidates, you've been forewarned, do not take your work.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Pacific Living Properties (San Diego, CA) in Nov 2018
Interview
Easy interview, if you have pervious accounting experience. The interview was not very complicated. They were circumventing around the basics of knowledge of accounts payable. The interviewer was friendly and cool . Not stressful, easy going interview
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Pacific Living Properties (Bellevue, WA) in June 2017
Interview
Interview went great! The corporate office was very easy to find and parking was great. I met with Vice President, CEO and Regional Manager all at once. Everybody was so nice and I felt like I was already apart of their team! I was hired on the spot and I am so happy to become apart of an amazing company! In my past 28 years in this industry I can honestly say that this was by far the best interview I've done. These are real people that have positive attitudes, great communication skills and that also take pride in the employees and their residents. I will be proud to hang my hat there and commit until retirement!
