Interview
The most unprofessional interview experience I've ever had. About seven people gathered in one room, working in silence whilst I talked to the CEO and her assistant. The CEO was rude, condescending and arrogant. Probably still bitter about her flopped comedy career. She had no interest in finding out more about me as a person, but instead just belittled me and made me feel highly uncomfortable. She clearly thinks she's better than people, which is such a shame because this company has so much potential. She also spoke about ex colleagues in a patronising way - referring to them as stupid. All in all, I take pity on whoever gets this job and the people that already work there - you can tell that the CEO likes to recruit young graduates who she can easily control and manipulate. It's certainly not a production company that I'd ever work for and will definitely warn others against its toxic environment and snobby CEO. The office is also cramped and stuffy and the outside street smells awful. Just not a suitable work environment at all and puts people off before they've stepped through the door. All in all, an experience that left me thanking my lucky stars that life might have its ups and downs but at least I'm not working there!
