After reading the poor glassdoor reviews, I wasn't really keen on working at the company but figured I would give it my best shot. The woman I met with from HR was very unwelcoming and set the tone of awkwardness from the get-go. It was very odd as you usually want that first call to really sell the company to the potential employee.
Interview was easy, but when I wanted to discuss the comp package the HR woman seemed shocked I would ask as if I should be grateful to even work for Pat McGrath. Surprise to them but I actually need to pay bills and live my life!
They emailed me a week later telling me I wasn't moving forward and I felt like saying "no, worries! feeling is mutual!". It's super sad because Pat is so well respected and the products are lovely but it seems they have some kinks to work out internally.
