I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Paycom in June 2019
Interview
I was contacted by them and had an informed and friendly conversation with a recruiter on their team. At the end she said she would recommend me to the hiring manager and would send me a link to an application I should fill out in advance. I filled it out and was a bit confused. It repeated most of not all of the questions from my call and from the resume they already had on file when they reached out to me. The application was also about 8 pages long, which is WAY longer than anything I had filled out for anyone else. It even had questions like my GPA which seemed odd considering this was a mid level role and I had been out of college for about a decade.
In the end they didn’t get back in touch after I submitted the application and I never heard from the recruiter why. It was sort of a pain that I wasted my time with such a long application but likely a blessing in disguise. The application form is one of their main products and it was difficult to use as well as too long. The position also had a required 60% travel expectation which would be difficult without a car in the NYC area (most people do not own cars here).

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Paycom
Interview
I did a phone interview with the recruiter, a skype interview with the person who'd be my manager, a skype interview with the director, a ride along with someone already in the position and a final in person interview with the manager. The whole process went really quick, they move fast when they like someone.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Paycom (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2018
Interview
Interviewer with recruiter, then manager, then regional manager. All within a few day period. The process was quick and they made an offer very quickly which was nice, not a drawn out process.
