I applied online. I interviewed at Peachybbies in Aug 2025
Interview
I had an initial 30 screening with the Director of HR for round 1 and then 1 week later a 45 minute round 2 interview with the COO. All communication was done through LinkedIn messaging, no emails, which I thought was a little unusual. During round 2, the COO asked extremely difficult and project specific questions. I thought it was going great until around 30 minutes in, he asked me the specific name of a factory I mentioned in reference to a project I worked on 7 years ago. I blanked and said I could not remember the name (not that I would have been comfortable sharing it had I immediately remembered anyway), and he said, "you don't remember the name??" and immediately turned off the AI note taking system. We continued on with the interview but many of his questions were very aggressive and by the way he described his leadership style, I got the impression he may be difficult to work with. After that interview, I checked in with HR and let her know that I still thought it overall went very well and that my work experience was a perfect fit for the role. She replied saying she'd get back to me shortly with updates. I reached out once per week for the next 5 weeks after that, and no response. Completely ghosted.
