The interview process is not transparent.
Initially, the manager informed me the interview is four stages - phone screening, manager one-on-one, portfolio review, design exercise, then final offer.
After I passed all the above, they followed up with more rounds includes a personality test, cross-team interview, product team interview, and references.
The manager was intending to tell me the team will be on vacation so they would postpone the interview decision. Then they informed me last minutes after I passed all the above rounds that they would choose the other candidate and only after I sent email to ask follow up.
