I applied for the job through Indeed and didn't receive any response. Then, was recruited by an outside Indeed recruiter that said I would be hearing from the hospital directly, no response. Next, I was contacted by a LinkedIn recruiter, who passed me on to the HR recruiter from PetVet Care Centers in CT. That recruiter was all over the place! There was a lot of back and forth with her in setting up a phone interview. Once it was scheduled, she rescheduled it, then didn’t call me at our scheduled time. I called her 10 minutes after and she told me she put the wrong time in her calendar. Then, 5 minutes into the interview, she tells me she needs to call me back because she has another candidate contacting her and she has to handle it. She eventually called me back, continued the interview, pushed my application forward, and had me take a lengthy online assessment. After all of that, I received no follow-up or response to my follow-up email. It would have been nice if given the professional courtesy of a response, even if they weren't interested further. What a waste of time and effort. The lack of professional, communication and follow-through is disappointing.
