      Senior Account Manager Interview

      12 May 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I interviewed at Pinterest (New York, NY)

      Interview

Pretty difficult interview process but the recruiter was extremely helpful through the entire process. I interviewed for both the Programmatic AM role and Direct AM role. Both equally as difficult and a long process.

      Senior Client Account Manager Interview

      14 Oct 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Dublin, Dublin
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Pinterest (Dublin, Dublin) in Oct 2024

      Interview

Very, very long interview process. Had to do 7 interviews in total, over a course of almost 2 months. Last interview was a presentation that took lots of time to prepare for. The setting for the presentation is badly set up, as it’s online and you can’t see any of the people you’re presenting to. During all interviews there was almost no time to ask questions to the interviewers. Very job specific questions are being asked. What I don’t understand, they have your CV and see you didn’t work in digital marketing the last years and clearly state this in every interview, why are they still asking questions as you would currently work in digital marketing? Honestly a waste of time, if you don’t have years of experience in digital marketing.

      Sr Client Account Manager Interview

      12 Sept 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Dublin, Dublin
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Pinterest (Dublin, Dublin) in Aug 2024

      Interview

The recruiter stopped responding after the initial screening, and despite my follow-up, I received no reply. This kind of unprofessional behavior is surprising, especially from someone working at such a large company. Even a simple "no" would have been appreciated for the sake of transparency. The company itself is struggling, as reflected in its stock market performance, showing its difficulty in competing with giants like Meta or Google. Despite this, their hiring process remains stringent, and they seem unwilling to consider candidates from different verticals, even if it's within related fields like marketing.
