I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Pinterest (New York, NY) in June 2015
Interview
It was a positive experience. Reading the posted reviews, it seems like people do not fully understand the hiring process at Pinterest-- it really is a people-centric organization. The HR counterparts want to learn about you, what you do, and your current organization to see if your current role aligns with the role at Pinterest (i.e. a product manager at X company does not = product manager at Pinterest). I think the questions they ask were great to determine if the role you applied for really fits your experience/ if there is another opportunity available that would better suit you.
