A recruiter reached out to me for initial screening and I was asked if I was on OPT. I confirmed I was. A few days later, I was interviewed by the South City tax and accounting team. Typical behavioral questions and questions about experience and courses.
After a few weeks, I was told I got the position so I accepted the offer and declined others.
I asked for additional information to get my documents verified and a few hours later, a HR Director told me they “are unable to support work authorization that have recently come to light” even though I asked throughout the interview process if they are open to international students.
Fortunately, I was able to find another opportunity but I am writing this review to warn other applicants to keep their options open as this company and its subsidiary went back on their word.
